What is a day at camp like?
The day is broken into 2 parts. In the morning the academic program is designed to meet the specific needs of children with learning disabilities during the crucial summer months, when some of the skills learned during the school year may begin to deteriorate. An individualized program is provided by professionally trained teachers and specialists. In the afternoon the "camp" phase of the program has activities in arts and crafts, exploratory activities (Science, Art, Karate, etc), cooperative games, swimming, and social skills.
